Founders and Leadership:

Founded in 2024 by Hans Kalkofen and Garet Deuster, Elite Outdoors represents a fusion of passion, skill, and a deep-rooted commitment to enhancing residential environments. Both natives of Richmond, Hans and Garet's partnership began when Garet hired Hans as a hardscape laborer. Their collaboration evolved into a strong professional and personal bond, fueled by a shared vision for superior hardscaping and landscaping solutions.
 

Expertise and Experience:

Hans Kalkofen, with extensive experience in hardscape, landscape, and water feature installations, has managed diverse projects ranging from paver driveways to intricate bluestone patios. His recent accomplishments include overseeing the hardscaping and gazebo installation for an impressive 85,000-gallon water feature, in collaboration with Aquafauna Ponds.

Garet Deuster, leveraging over 20 years in the industry, has led multimillion-dollar hardscape projects and multi-team operations. His extensive network and experience with leading designers, suppliers, and manufacturers have honed his ability to manage projects of varying scales with precision and expertise.
